WELCOME TO BIG SKY
A TOWN BUILT ON HISTORY
A beautiful place such as Big Sky, Montana, didn't come from the easiest of beginnings. However, I'm sure the collective census will agree that everyone wants to make sure their beloved town stays beautiful. Today, that still rings true and would make good ol' Clovis Deveraux proud to see what it has become since the town created where he served as the first mayor of Big Sky! And no matter where you look, you can see the beauty in the town. From the view of the mountains to every store on Main Street, there's always something to see. If you ask me, someone who was born and raised in Big Sky, I'm always seeing something different even after all these years!
Big Sky was founded in 1893 and has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but mostly the city has done nothing but grow into what it is today: 131 years later. Visitors to Big Sky can enjoy the perks of living in a friendly place with access to a top-notch ski resort for their recreational enjoyment. There are plenty of places to shop and eat as well as an amazing theater! There's truly something to always peak your interest while you visit! Locals have the added bonus of enjoying exceptional schools for their children in Kindergarten through 12th grade! Once they're done with their first 12 years of school, they can move on to the award-winning Big Sky University to further their education while staying close to home!
No matter what it is though, Big Sky has it all that one would need or even possibly want! I know that I don't plan on leaving this beautiful place. As I was born and raised here, I aspire to also make sure my children and their children are also born and raised right here in this beautiful piece of Montana!

I love the fresh mountain air. I could probably spend all day in the mountains and never come down. I have my survival instincts and know my way around it. I am level and even-tempered; it takes a lot to make me mad. There is no secret; I hate her. That is my mother, Solstice. She has no interest in us and only cares about herself. I also love animals; I love being around horses and learning how to teach and train them. I love to be adventurous; I can give you a good time if you're willing to listen and understand things around the mountain. While I am also loyal to my siblings and family, they always have my back no matter what. I am also honorable, as I will always keep my word.
On the other side, I am usually quiet and reserved. Some people have a hard time reading my emotions. I know it is bad bottling them up, but I don't want my family to worry about them all that much. I also rarely give second chances to anybody. Once you turn your back on me or my family, I will refuse to let you have a second chance or try to compromise or bring peace back. You are done. I am also verbose, as I say more than I should sometimes. I am impulsive and often think before I act on my actions or thoughts.
My origins date back to before Big Sky was a town or Montana was even a state to the Shoshone Indians who occupied what is Big Sky today. My family descends from the great chiefs of the Shoshone Indians. I can't tell you exact dates, but when most of the Shoshone were rounded up by the army the Big Sky tribe which was small remained untouched. Continuing to live out their lives here. Our ancestor Soaring Sly Falcon and his squaw Golden Dawn were just starting a family when they became one of the founding seven families of Big Sky, Montana.
Soaring Sly Falcon was also one of the founding members along with the other six men of the founding families of the Wild Wolves MC. Those men kept up on all of the new trends and made Big Sky What it is today. The MC is still prospering as well. A lot more members than it was a hundred and twenty-five years ago. Some of the old bikes from back then remain in the family and are in a special place in our family garage. Almost as if a shrine for them.
My name is Valient Falcon. My father is Cobalt Falcon, and my mother is Solstice Falcon. I was the fourth born in the family, with Ransym, River, and Jethro ahead of me. It was a beautiful fall day when I was born, when the leaves were changing colors. By now, my parents had experience taking care of babies. However, I had a feeling it was my dad who would get up in the middle of the night to feed me. My mom, not so much. We had plenty of nannies to take care of us. I was curious from a young age, always getting into everything.
My siblings and I had already gone through a number of nannies, and Ransym, who loved causing problems. He drove them off. My dad fired all the nannies after finding out that one had kidnapped Jethro. But we got him back. At the age of four, I received my first minibike and began riding it outside. My father was the one who taught us how to ride our bikes. When I got older, I graduated to a dirt bike, and I ride it on the dirt track. I also joined motocross. I was very competitive. I won several trophies in competitions.
Because of my mom's attitude, my dad became a more significant figure in my life than I realized. In my opinion, my mom did not care about us at all. Her only goal was to keep my dad happy by giving him more children. And she only cared about her image. She didn't care about the mountain, biking, or anything else.
My family is close friends with the Swanson family. We spent a lot of time together, and Nevaeh was one of my closest friends. I didn't care that she was a girl. We would spend lots of time together, doing kid things like catching fireflies at night or watching the sunset. Or even having a bonfire. She was always there, hanging out with me. And I enjoyed it. I tried all the sports in seventh grade, and I was excellent at football and baseball. They were my favorite sports, and I continued them in high school.
While I was in high school, I asked Nevaeh Swanson, out on a date. And she said yes. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. We went on dates together, like going to the movies, to the clubhouse, or traveling up to the mountains. We did everything together. Nevaeh and I even did silly things like our first kiss under the mistletoe when it was Christmas.
When I turned 18, I prospected to the Wild Wolves MC club. I had to prove myself that I could get in it. When I turned 19, I got into the club after being voted in. And because of this, it was the happiest moment of my life. Devin, who is Jethro's girl, is here from Switzerland and going to school in the States. She was returning to Switzerland for the holidays but asked Jethro to come with her. It turns out, we were all going. I had a blast in Switzerland. I kept in touch with Naveah while I was there, too.
Nine months ago, we had a tragic moment and chaos after an avalanche struck the mountains. Several people had to be recovered. It was a rough, terrible moment for us. And another incident where a drunk driver hit the Youngblood family. But it is a reminder of why the mountains and nature's fury can be so bad to us. I enjoyed helping rescue people and hope to continue it in the future.

The night was young as Damien felt a chill in the air. He stepped outside feeling winter's grasp still on them but barely. It would not be long before Spring came around and welcomed the new season without question. He was growing weary of the cold winter months, while his werewolf form didn't seem to mind it. He was protected with warm fur that could survive the elements of the cold with no problem. The last bit of snow had melted, while a little bit of frost still clung to the windows. The cold nights were numbered as the warmth would eventually take over.
As Damien stepped out, he had his phone in hand. He had a book in another looking at old astrology charts. The paper was worn with age with a handful of tears from on the sides, as they had scrawled pieces of notes written on it. Because of this, Damien was able to see and recognize some of the planets in the sky as he could point out where he was. Then the moon phases on another page as he flipped through the papers that he had. Damien knew in a couple of weeks; his werewolf form would come out. He still had time. It didn't bother him that much now.
"I see now, so that's where we are. The moon is, half full and will not change for a while." Damien said as that was calming enough. His own home in Quincy had been a small apartment that he had rented out for a couple of months ahead of time. To have his roof over his head was rewarding, and he had enjoyed it. As he began to walk down the streets, there was a nearby park that he could frequent. He smelled the damp air like a storm might come later that night. Along with the few scents of people who had been out that night walking their dogs or heading home. Damien had left Freki back in the apartmment for a short amount of time. As he would be back in. And he'd never forget his companion.
